Our Christmas gift to the community is providing space in our Star Block property (next to Vivo on Queen Street) rent-free for the Christmas Wonderland display, open six days a week from 1-24 December. Now in its seventh year, the fantastic community initiative is driven by Jo Scott and her wonderful team of volunteers who are ready to welcome early childhood and aged care groups, and the wider public to share the magic of Christmas.
Call in to sit and relax and view this year’s displays including Santa’s workshop, a traditional dining setting, a winter woodland and the Polar Express. There’s plenty for the kids to do with dress ups and colouring plus of course photos with Santa when he visits. Other supporters include the Salvation Army, Resource Centre, St Vincent’s Carterton, Power Shop, Hall Family Trust and the Volunteer Centre.
